    About

In the early 80s, the aerobics boom took Reebok to the top. The Ex-O-Fit, Princess and especially the Freestyle Hi models were seen in all aerobics videos and TV shows, including on Jane Fonda's feet. Reebok's last big hit in the running segment was the Aztec. The Classic model was already on the market in 1983, but at that time it was not able to satisfy the high expectations of the Reebok managers. The Reebok Classic was the first running shoe to receive the leather treatment of its fitness colleagues and the success story took its course. The Reebok Classic Leather was one of the most expensive running shoes in 1983, which made it interesting for many celebrities in the 80s. In the nearly 35 years since its initial launch, the CL has become an absolute classic among running sneakers, so much so that the style can hardly save itself from collaboration partners. With collaborations with cosmetics label Face Stockholm and the Kendrick Lamar collabs, the Reebok Classic is more in demand than ever.
