In 2008, Dani opened the doors of his sneaker store in Darmstadt for the first time. 18 years later, Asphaltgold has grown into one of Europe's leading online retailers for sneakers & contemporary streetwear. Our assortment includes a selective selection of renowned, established sneaker & sportswear brands with a range of carefully selected apparel brands and newcomers. In addition, there are products from our own brand, which are designed and produced with passion and attention to detail.

Just like our assortment, our team is diverse; more than 130 employees consisting of experts, new entrants, or career changers in Marketing, E-Com, Customer Experience, Buying, Logistics, Finance, and HR contribute to the successful, international growth of Asphaltgold. Two things, in particular, connect us: the passion for the product and the fact that no one here takes themselves too seriously.
