One idea, four times the power: Peter Madsen, Tommy Pedersen, Brian Nygaard and Karl-Oskar Olsen are not only the founders, but also the creative minds behind Pas Normal Studios. They launched the brand, which is based in the cycling capital of Copenhagen, in 2014. Since then, things have happened quickly: in a very short space of time, the boys managed to establish themselves with their cycling clothing in the highly competitive fashion industry and streetwear scene.
Fun fact: Co-founder Karl-Oskar Olsen had long been known as the designer of the subculture label Wood Wood , from which the name Pas Normal Studios also emerged. Because the French translation of “not normal”, i.e. “pas normal” was once visible on a Wood Wood shirt. Words that the cyclist Lance Armstrong, who later tested positive himself, used to mock his doped competitors. This is how an inside joke became a brand name that reflects the company's philosophy: Pas Normal Studios is everything - except normal.
In 2015, Pas Normal Studios released its first Mechanism collection with cycling influences. Since then, the brand's focus has been to continually develop new, original products. The concept: Functional cycling clothing that stands out with its timeless and clean aesthetic.
