Nike's Pegasus Plus 2 brings its tempo trainer into the second generation. The Pegasus line has been running for over four decades and is considered Nike's workhorse for daily mileage. This version gets closer to race pace without sacrificing everyday usability. The Velvet Brown / Black / Tattoo / Light Bone colorway features an engineered mesh upper that remains lightweight and breathable. Underfoot, a full-length ZoomX cushioning with a visible, curved Air Zoom unit in the forefoot delivers around 18% more energy return than the first Pegasus Plus. The revamped Waffle outsole with flex zones provides zonal grip and direct ground contact, while the MR10-2.0 last gives the toes more room. Weighing about 265 grams and with a 10mm drop, the shoe remains agile. The Pegasus Plus 2 is built for the Daily Run, ready to shift into tempo at any time – including fast workouts, intervals, and long runs.
