With the ACG LDV, Nike returns to the silhouette that started it all. The Long Distance Vector debuted in the late 1970s as a lightweight distance runner on Bill Bowerman's waffle sole – and made mountaineering history when Rick Ridgeway and John Roskelley wore the delicate nylon runners instead of heavy leather boots to the K2 base camp in 1978. This moment inspired the birth of ACG, Nike's outdoor division, now completely revamped. This version features a deep Hyper-Royal blue, accented by bright Lemon-Venom highlights and Old-Royal details. The textile upper keeps it light, while leather parts and embroidered logos provide structure. Underfoot, ReactX foam works on a grippy rubber sole – classic contour, contemporary chassis. Between trail heritage and streetwear present, the ACG LDV remains grounded in the story from which it comes: from Nike's running catalog to the mountains and onto urban asphalt.
