The Vans OTW x Bad Idea by CHITO Half Cab 33 brings CHITO's Bad Idea project to the premium OTW line by Vans. The Bad Idea format has been around for about two years, previously showcasing Old Skools with artwork from Pain Stretch and Sweet Life Street Life. This time, CHITO curates the airbrush world of Seoul artist Wreckpack on a graphic-heavy Half Cab 33, the reissue of Steve Caballero's skate-historical signature model. The colorway thrives on contrast: Wreckpack's skull graphics span the upper, with orange on the lower panels transitioning to emerald green at the collar. Purple stripes run through the black midsole in a tiger pattern, flanked by black and orange accents on the foxing tape. Tongue label and insoles feature the collab branding details amidst the densely printed areas. A Halloween drop with attitude: raw, hand-drawn, straight from the intersection of graffiti, tattoo, and skate.
