Description Salomon XT-6 Protective

Salomon has evolved from the French outdoor specialist in the Alps to a fixed star of the Gorpcore movement. The XT-6 was reintroduced in 2018 as a lifestyle shoe and helped spark the Gorpcore movement. Originally debuting in 2013 for ultrarunners tackling over 50 miles and thousands of elevation feet, the XT-6 Protective captures this DNA and pushes it towards a toolbox aesthetic. For the Protective, Salomon reinterprets the silhouette. The XT-6 Protective features durable ripstop and structured TPU film for a workwear look designed for durability. The Stormy Weather / Dark Navy colorway combines muted gray and navy tones, providing calm to the technical overlays. Familiar codes include Sensifit, Quicklace, and the grippy Contagrip outsole. Muted tones, reinforced cap, no unnecessary frills – the Protective reads like an XT-6 dressed for gray cities and wet days. Technology and understatement in a shoe that has long moved from the Alpine route to the asphalt.
