Salomon comes from the French Alps and has been making gear for the mountains for decades. The Salomon XT-6 debuted in 2013 in the elite S/LAB line as a trail runner for ultramarathon athletes like Kilian Jornet, designed by Lead Designer Benjamin Grenet as the endpoint of the XT-Wings series. From the racetrack, the silhouette moved straight to the asphalt and became a symbol of the Gorpcore movement. This version comes in a gradient of Lunar Rock, Footwear Silver, and White – a calm, monochrome palette in muted gray tones. The textile upper features a delicate mesh of overlays that wraps around the foot, while the Quicklace system and Contagrip sole keep the technical DNA visible.
