Paraboot is the French shoemaker from the Alps, producing since 1908 as a family business in Isère and one of the few houses that still vulcanizes its rubber soles. The Paraboot Thiers is a Derby with origins in the 1960s, recently revived by a new generation that values craftsmanship over hype. The Lisse America version features smooth full-grain leather with subtle ribbed stitching, closed over four eyelets. The lining is entirely leather, and the Blake stitch keeps the construction light and flexible. Below sits the proprietary natural rubber sport sole, providing a slightly sturdier stance and good grip. A shoe with Alpine DNA that effortlessly fits into the urban landscape – built to look better with age.
