The story of adidas began somewhat earlier and more tranquilly: with the brothers Adi and Rudolf Dassler, who fulfilled their dream of self-employment with the "Dassler Shoe Factory" in 1924. After the brothers decided to go their separate ways, Adi Dassler founded the company adidas.
The name adidas is derived from the founder's name. His brother, on the other hand, founded the brand Puma, which also enjoys great recognition today.
