Description Adidas x Pharrell Williams Adistar Jellyfish

Pharrell Williams and adidas continue their long-standing collaboration with the Adidas x Pharrell Williams Adistar Jellyfish – a model brought to the streets by the Virginia Beach musician and designer under his creative platform VIRGINIA. Based on the Adistar Cushion 3 Runner from 2005, its proportions are reinterpreted here with a massive sole unit and protruding TPU overlays, inspired by the floating movements of a jellyfish. This version in Onix, Aurora Onix, and Core Black keeps the palette muted and lets the sculptural form speak. Three-dimensionally shaped TPU overlays trace an exoskeleton, while an airy mesh base is combined with layered panels. It features characteristic Jellyfish branding details and elements that glow in the dark. The Jellyfish represents Pharrell's penchant for experimentation. It is playful, bold, and sculptural, while also functional – taking something classic from the Adistar and pushing it forward. A silhouette between land and water, street and sculpture.
