Salomon has stood for trail technology since its founding as a family workshop in the French Alps, which has long made its way into the city. The XT-Whisper debuted in 2000 as a feminine version of the trail model XT Hawk and still carries the typical XT language of layered overlays and agile chassis. The GTX version adds waterproof protection with GORE-TEX and the usual breathability. It features a subdued Iron / Shadow Gray colorway that presents the wavy Sensifit lines and mesh structure subtly. The Quicklace system tightens with a pull, while the Contagrip sole grips both loose and firm terrain. A tone for gray days when rain and asphalt blend into the same palette – the XT-Whisper GTX remains technical without being pretentious.
