The XT-6 debuted in 2013, designed by the S/LAB team under designer Benjamin Grenet for ultramarathon runners like Kilian Jornet and François D'haene. Through the Gorpcore wave, it moved from the mountains to the streets of Paris, Tokyo, and New York. The Salomon XT-6 Expanse continues this legacy with a warmer, textured approach. The colorway Earth Brown / White Pepper / Coyote Brown remains deliberately muted and earthy. The XT-6 EXPANSE brings new texture and depth to the family, with high-quality, heritage-inspired materials, overlaid with stitched panels and Sensifit construction for a layered, retro-oriented look. The Contagrip outsole sits firmly under the textile upper. Earth tones and stacked material surfaces capture exactly the mood that has carried the XT-6 through the cities for years: technically rooted, yet calm enough for the gray winter.
