    The Puma x A$AP Rocky Straycat emerges from the ongoing collaboration between Puma and New York rapper, designer, and AWGE head A$AP Rocky, who has served as Creative Director for the brand's motorsport line since 2023. The Straycat debuted on the AWGE runway as a brand-new silhouette, reinterpreting Puma's motorsport heritage with a more aggressive, contemporary approach. Unlike its Speedcat or Mostro designs, there is no archival template here, but a distinctive, robust form. The colorway in Puma Black / Formula Red features a deep black base with signal red accents. The upper is built on reinforced, layered panels, while a rope lacing system creates structural tension over a segmented sole. Suede and ripstop meet a grippy Vibram outsole, giving the chunky profile traction. The Straycat is part of the AWGE Fall/Winter 2026 collection, where Rocky merges Formula 1 codes with street aesthetics. The rope lacing, angular sole, and grounded profile look make this drop one of the most distinctive chapters of the Puma partnership.

    The idea of Vitale Bramani, the forefather of the Vibram sole, was to increase safety in the mountains. His design was the Carrarmato sole and the most suitable material was rubber, inspired by tires that work on any surface.
