    About New Amsterdam Surf Association

    New Amsterdam Surf Association was founded in 2018 by Paul Zeper, a professional windsurfer who wanted to turn the classic surf cliché on its head. Born in Amsterdam, the brand combines city life-fashion, music, art-with a community that shares a deep love of surfing. Unlike the typical surfer, these “new wave” surfers spend more time in the city than on the beach. The arduous journey to surf, whether by public transport or organizing a ride, unites the crew. Their destination? A dull beach with an industrial skyline in Wijk aan Zee. That's what the New Amsterdam Surf Association is all about.
