Description Adidas x Hellstar Megaride S2

With the Adidas x Hellstar Megaride S2, the sports giant from Herzogenaurach meets the streetwear label from Los Angeles. Founded in 2020 by Sean Holland and Joseph Pendleton, Hellstar represents screen-printed graphics and spiritual symbolism – the name refers to the light breaking through the darkness. After the initial Superstar drops and a camouflaged AE 2, the Megaride S2 is the first global release from both. This is where the appeal lies: the flame motif of the brand transitions from white to deep black across the upper, embossed into the material rather than printed. A zipper shroud covers the lacing, while metallic shimmering Megaride pods and a translucent outsole emphasize the Y2K runner heritage. The Megaride S2 brings back the bouncy pod cushioning aesthetic of the early 2000s – neo-tribal, retro-futuristic, and with the raw core of Hellstar DNA.
