For new footwear brands it's a rocky road to stand out among the big brands. One brand that has had our attention for some time and is now part of our portfolio is Athletics Footwear. Founded in London, the brand sees itself as a bridge between nostalgia, sneaker heritage and innovation - an active lifestyle brand that works with cutting-edge materials and technologies.
So far, there are two understated yet versatile silhouettes from Athletics Footwear: the One and the One.2. The key features are the seamless upper made of TPU, plus the stitched mesh tongue and a comfortable running sole. All colorways available so far come in clean colorways, mostly dominated by light gray or white, flanked by contrasting details without getting too flashy. While the lacing on the One.2 is open, the eyelets on the One are hidden. The latter has a crucial detail: on the toebox is the Athletics logo as a small trademark.
