REEBOK X EAMES CLUB C 85 - C stands for comfort
We've been saying it for a long time. Sneakers and furniture simply go together! Anyone who pays close attention to our visual language will have seen this liaison more than once. But synergies between fashion and interior brands can also be found outside of our productions. Just think of Virgil Abloh and his Ikea line or Versace with their own home collection. So it wasn't a big surprise when we first heard about the collaboration between Reebok and Eames. But we can promise one thing: The result of this collaboration will make sneaker hearts beat faster!
The Club C 85 is probably the most popular all-purpose shoe from Reebok. Timeless and comfortable, it's the right choice for any everyday situation. When you think of Eames, similar associations come to mind. The husband and wife team Ray and Charles Eames have enriched the design world with stylish seating furniture that sends our senses straight into a relaxed mode. The connection between the two great minds is therefore no coincidence.
The joint work of Reebok and Eames on the sneaker classic Club C turns out to be relatively restrained at the first release. The idea behind it? To stay as close as possible to the original from 1985 and on the other hand to put full focus on the materials used and comfort. The result is keeping it close to the Eames tradition. Simple design that convinces with many details! The white, as well as the black colorway captivate with their soft upper material and light gray accents. On the woven label the traditional Reebok logo is replaced by the Eames lettering. In addition, you will also find the logo of the family business on the tongue label and the laces. Another highlight is the Special Box, which is inspired by the famous Eames house.
