asphaltgold Air Carpet - a tribute to the Nike Air Max² Light
For the release of the latest Air Max2 Light we thought of something very special: We're not only bringing the running icon back to the streets, but into your living room at home with two exclusive rugs!
Hardly any sneaker offers more color design options and color variations than the Air Max2 Light. In addition to the strikingly placed overlays of leather, the underlying mesh creates then as now sufficient possibilities to let off steam in terms of design.
As a tribute to the unique silhouette, we've created a collectible and designed two carpets that pick up on the colors of the upcoming Squared Lights and feature a cutout of the shoe. The Air Carpet comes in both Navy and Sail.
In addition to retro interior vibes, however, the quality of this limited edition piece is likely to raise the pulse of retro running fans: made in Anatolia and consisting of 100% wool, this statement piece was created through the traditional art of knotting by the finest hand.
With a size of 250cm x 180cm, asphaltgold's own creation is all about the exceptional shoe: big, bold and comfy².
The shoe that already inspired style-conscious sneaker fans 25 years ago is now back from the archives in fresh colorways. Back on the street and maybe soon in your home!
