By participating in our raffles, you regularly have the chance to win the right to purchase a hyped sneaker. What does that mean? Many sneakers are now so highly sought-after that the available quantity is unfortunately far lower than demand . Often, hyped sneakers are even traded and resold for a higher price after their release , so that in recent years – unfortunately – has developed a real resale business .  

To give our customers a fair chance at the shoe, we conduct these releases through participation in the Asphaltgold app. This ensures equal opportunities for all participants under fair conditions while simultaneously combating so-called bots . Bots are programmed mechanisms that can potentially buy out entire stocks with a single click or cause shop systems to crash . To prevent this, we release via raffles .

Due to high demand, it's become established in our industry to offer purchase options for limited-edition sneakers through so-called "Sneaker Raffles." This means that if you successfully participate, you don't win the shoe itself, but can purchase it as the lucky winner, while many participants miss out.

A distinction is made between different types of sneaker raffles:

Online Sneaker Raffle: Interested sneakerheads can participate in raffles during a specific time period via a store/manufacturer's online shop, or, as with us, via the Asphaltgold app, and win the option to purchase. Winners will automatically receive the shoe in the Asphaltgold app, and payment is processed via authorization upon participation. This protects the app from bots and ensures fast shipping!

In-store Sneaker Raffle: At Asphaltgold, you regularly have the chance to participate in raffles for current releases in our Darmstadt store. Asphaltgold defines a participation period, and anyone interested can register with their email address and sneaker size. After the participation period ends, our in-store team randomly draws the winners. They will then be notified via email and can pick up their shoes in the store, pay for them, and take them home. Psst: the chances of winning in-store sneaker raffles are usually pretty good!

In-store Live Raffle: Live raffles take place in-store, but are drawn live. Anyone who wants to participate for a chance to purchase the shoe should arrive at the store at a pre-determined time and register. Once the time is up, the winners for each size will be randomly drawn, and the lucky ones can receive their pairs right away! Asphaltgold in Darmstadt recently held an in-store live raffle for the Nike Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro *Lost & Found* !

Want access to a hot new release at Asphaltgold? Then download our app, register, and log in with your stored (payment) details. Choose your desired raffle product and enter the drawing for the right to purchase. We will authorize a payment . Our raffles typically last 48-72 hours, after which you will be notified immediately.

If you are one of the lucky winners , you will receive Your shoes without long waits, as your winnings have already been paid due to authorization . After each raffle, you'll receive a notification with a W or L—a W means win, an L, in this case, unfortunately, means lose. Good luck next time!

If you don't win, we'll cancel the payment authorization immediately after the winners are drawn . This means your account won't be debited until you win the raffle. Your money should be back in your account within a few hours.

The winners are drawn completely automatically and randomly. There's no fairer way to hold a raffle yet. Everyone has the chance to create an account and participate in sneaker raffles at Asphalt.
