Veja launches the Aegean Project! The aim is to produce and sell sneakers locally in Europe. Veja is launching the V-90 *Aegean Project* - Made in Portugal! Veja uses smooth and suede leather sourced from the EU for the upper. For the V logo and the sole unit, the French brand uses rubber from the Amazon region, among other things.

About VEJA
Since 2005, VEJA has been creating sneakers in a different way, mixing social projects,
economic justice, and ecological materials.
VEJA sources Brazilian and Peruvian organic and agroecological cotton for the canvas
and laces, Amazonian rubber for the soles, and innovative materials made from
recycled polyester. The production of VEJA sneakers takes place in
high-standard factories located in Brazil.
