About On

The former athlete Olivier Bernhard wanted to develop a shoe with an
a completely new kind of running feel. He experimented with
pieces of garden hose and glued them to the outsole of a prototype. Since
2010, Caspar Coppetti and David Allemann have also been on board, and the feeling of walking
of walking on clouds was born. The goal was to develop the highest-performing
shoe ever: soft landings, powerful push-offs.
Developed entirely in Switzerland with the most innovative technologies available
available. In March 2010, the revised On prototypes received the ISPO
BrandNew Award. Today, On is in the hearts (and on the feet) of more than 7
million athletes* in over 50 countries. On is still a long,
long, long way to go. Dream On.
