The collaboration between Mizuno and Shinzo Paris continues - and this time on two colorways of the Contender! The outer corduroy upper is inspired by the colors of the fictional Blue Rats and Red Rats baseball teams. The upper material underneath is reminiscent of old Japanese baseball magazines and newspaper articles. There are two ways to wear the shoe: wear the shoe with the corduroy material and see if daily use changes the upper material, or use your creativity to make the lower layer visible and thus combine both worlds - the decision is up to you. The respective team crest in combination with an illustration of the mascot on the insole rounds off the look.
