About Soulland
The Soulland brand was founded in 2002 in Copenhagen. Silas Adler, the founder and creative director of the relatively young brand, saw the light of day in Denmark in 1985 and spent much of his youth on a skateboard. Influenced by the skate scene, which was considered to be particularly rebellious and creative, it was this time that ignited the creative spark in Adler and prompted him to build a fashion label. At the time, Adler found inspiration in his own roots. Copenhagen is located on an island known in Danish as "sjælland." Loosely translated, this means "soulland." Here, Adler's deep connection to his homeland is evident - a connection that is also unmistakably rooted in the identity of his own brand. Looking at Soulland's aesthetic, one notices the influence that his youth and homeland had on Adler. Soulland's collections are characterized by typical Scandinavian craftsmanship and an eye for detail. Here, various influences from high fashion, classic menswear and skate style come together to create a clean and minimalistic result. The high-quality pieces meet the highest standards of material, workmanship and design. Thereby Silas Adler is always on the pulse of time with his collections. He combines the typical simple Scandinavian style with classic British design, creating something completely new. In recent years, Soulland has managed to become one of the hottest newcomer brands worldwide. Brands such as Nike SB, Lee Jeans or 66° North have already recognized this potential and worked with Soulland on collaborations.
