The Nike Air Jordan 2 was first released in 1986 after a collaboration between Michael Jordan and Nike designers Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore. The design was different from the Air Jordan 1 - the AJ2 was also intended to appeal to customers outside the basketball court, which was only partially successful at the time. After various collaborations in recent years, including with Off-White, Union, Maison Chateau Rouge and Just Don, the standing of the Air Jordan 2 in the streetwear sector has also risen. Therefore, it was only a matter of time until Nike released the OG colorway par excellence, the Chicago, for the first time since 2016.
