The category of shoes known as synchro first debuted in 1980 and as the range grew over the years, it was always easy to recognise the group by the unorthodox lacing system in the toe box. The research and design team wanted to provide a better-fitting upper and developed the innovative lacing system for greater comfort and durability. The Synchron Classic, the 90s edition of the Synchron category, is still a comfortable model with an air cushion unit and a stable heel cap.

About Karhu
The Finnish brand Karhu was founded in 1916 and initially produced spears, discuses and skis, then a few years later running shoes. Karhu is particularly known for its Fulcrum technology. This was developed in 1987 and has since been tested and perfected at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland and Iowa State University in the USA. It provides targeted cushioning that allows for a more natural running feel and a better kick.
