The perforation on the toebox and the side panels give the shoe a luxurious touch. The heel is reinforced with a brown leather overlay stitched to Clarks signature crepe sole. Clarks Originals is one of the most traditional shoe manufacturers in the world. Founded in 1825 in English Street, Somerset, the company headquarters is still located in the same place today. The brothers James and Cyrus Clark recognized the need for high-quality footwear early on, so they constantly developed their product portfolio and manufacturing capabilities. With their flagships, the Desert Boot and the Wallabee, the brand was able to celebrate great success across different generations and subcultures. Besides the English Mods of the 60s, it was mainly the Jamaican Rudeboys who discovered the brand and made it big.
