Butter Goods founders Garth Mariano and Matt Evans probably thought that there was nothing going on in the scene. Both of them worked in skate shops in the early 2000s and realized: None of our favorite brands still have anything to do with skating - because they were either already bankrupt or in the hands of big brands. So Mariano and Evans quickly quit their jobs, acquired knowledge about graphic design and founded their own skatewear label. So Butter Goods was in the starting blocks in 2008.
The ideas of the friends from Perth, Australia quickly developed into a highlight of the streetwear and skate scene. With retro vibes reminiscent of the 90s, their products conquered the market. The USPs of the brand: laid-back cuts with baggy jeans, stylish graphics and durable fabrics. And to advertise their Butter Goods hoodies , shorts or beanies , the guys from Australia rely on lookbooks. New collections are not advertised here with high fashion models, but with people from the bubble: skating, on the street, in the music studio or record store.
