After Freja Wewer teased it on her Instagram profile at the end of October, the time has now come - her collaboration with Asics on the 1090 v2 celebrates its release. The "Queen of Cool", as she is called in Denmark, focuses on silver and gray for her interpretation of the runner - dark gray mesh upper, shiny leather overlays in silver, dark gray sole. Unsurprisingly, the color combination suits the young Dane's style perfectly! Only details such as the logos or parts of the sole are set off in black.

Asics GEL
In 1986 Asics introduced GEL technology first on the Japan-exclusive Asics Freaks and then on the GT-II - and the rest is history. GEL technology works on both the rear and front of the foot by strategically placing the gel where it works best. Rearfoot GEL technology reduces impact at the heel and allows for a smooth roll-off, while in the forefoot it improves cushioning during forward movements. The GEL technology, formed from inert polymers to silicone, have been constantly developed to produce a substance that reduces the demands on the human body during sports.
