Nike Internationalist

After the first release of the Nike Internationalist at the end of the 70s, the running legend played its biggest role in the movie hit "The Breakfast Club" in 1985. Unfortunately not on the feet of the athlete played by Emilio Estevez, but nevertheless well-sported by the designated nerd "Brian", this classic colorway reached an audience of millions and the sneaker soon became an absolute cult sneaker. For 2014, Nike presents us with a remake of the 1981 edition with a beautiful, wedge-shaped silhouette and heel clip for best support. Furthermore, the sneaker impresses with the - for its time typical - Nike Waffle sole, which is fully based on the original, as well as in material and shape. Swoosh fans who appreciate the more discreet look of a Nike Challenger or Nike Air Vortex will also enjoy the Internationalist.
