The North Face Women
The North Face was established in San Francisco in 1966 by Doug Tompkins as an outfitter store for skiing and backpacking tours. Under the brand slogan “Never Stop Exploring” the company produces high-quality, innovative and technical outdoor wear. In 1977 the brand mantra even gave rise to the creation of “Gore-Tex technology”. The label is also a key essential when it comes to everyday wear providing protection from wind and weather. The North Face has always been committed to the responsible use of chemicals in the production of its clothing. For many years TNF has showcased high-end streetwear via its exclusive sub-brand Purple Label. For the past few seasons the Japanese design team led by Creative Director Eiichiro Homma has been responsible for the capsule collection, which is available on a selective and limited basis from asphaltgold and a few other stores in Germany.
