    Welcome, THATBOII!

From now on asphaltgold says: " in the house!" The Munich-based streetwear label, which we will carry in the future as one of only two external retail stores worldwide (instore only), has a holistic community mindset and, in addition to its exclusive apparel, stands above all for a musical background. It's no coincidence that THATBOII founder CHELO is also active as a DJ and has started a movement with thatboii.wave that connects people via straight positive vibes and a smooth sound between Future Soul and Neo-RnB. Since the label's launch in 2016, the limited THATBOII collections have always sold like hot cakes and various tastemakers like hip-hop high-flyers Rae Sremmurd have already declared themselves fans of the timelessly slick pieces. Also in our asphaltgold offices you could often spot the significant logo in handwriting style on proudly worn garments.

The new collection is called "Blurred" and is based on the basic idea of putting boring perfection behind and letting boundaries blur. The hoodies and shirts, made predominantly of organic cotton and recycled polyester, occasionally pick up a snake motif. The reptile was chosen quite deliberately, as it can provide a "blurred" vision with its toxic bite, while also taking on a new appearance when it sheds its skin. This undefined, changing element distinguishes the collection, which is mostly in muted colors with the exception of the striking tie-dye shirt. A cap and socks (in the trendy color lilac, among others) complete the "Blurred" range.

Of course we didn't miss the opportunity to welcome THATBOII with a proper instore event at the AGC store. THATBOII mastermind CHELO, Venti and A. Tari delivered the fitting tunes for an all-around successful evening, where the label's good-vibes-only concept was fully realized. For tasty long drinks, our friends from THE DUKE Gin ice-cold beer came from the house of Warsteiner. In the photo gallery you can get an impression of what the whole thing looked like.
