We had the great fortune to attend COMPLEXCON in Long Beach, California on the first weekend of November! PUMA invited us and a small group of stores, bloggers and media to the Californian west coast to attend the convention and create content for the upcoming RIDER models. But first things first: COMPLEXCON is a convention for all lovers of sneakers, streetwear and everything that goes with it. More than 10,000 visitors make a pilgrimage to the Congress Centre in Long Beach over the course of two days to check out what's new at well-known and rather unknown brands or to get their hands on limited drops that are released exclusively for the CON.

But also the supporting program was worth seeing. Or rather: listen to. On the Music Stage, artists like Anderson .Paak and Kid Cudi passed the microphone to each other. In between you could also run into celebrities like Pharrell Williams, Steve Aoki or Takashi Murakami. Outside, the "First We Feast" food court offered everything you could wish for in American fast food.

The big PUMA booth was all about the RIDER series. In the FUTRO LAND the brand from Herzogenaurach presented the current and upcoming Style and Future Rider colorways. In the area presenting the cooperation with Chinatown Market, however, there was much more to see and experience: In the amusement corner, visitors could win limited PUMA x Chinatown Market footballs by playing a round of darts and other games, and in the tarot booth, a fortune teller gave an exclusive glimpse into PUMA's release future. As a very special treat, the not-yet-released PUMA x Chinatown Market Future Rider collaboration was available for purchase in advance. Those who wanted could have the new pieces customized on site with various patches, logos and letters.

In closing, we say, "Thank you Puma!" Our recap video is online now, more content from Long Beach, LA and Venice Beach will be coming from us in the next weeks - so stay tuned! By the way, you can find more about the history of the Puma Rider series in our blogpost!

Puma Future Rider December Drop: After the end of the first ComplexCon day, our travel group headed to the world-famous Venice Beach, where we met for the upcoming Puma Rider drop with Christopher from Deadstock Sneakerblog filmed a short, atmospheric Onfeet video. Release of the drop is December 07, of course at asphaltgold!
